Edge Country

When Sparrow Williams was a fourteen-year-old straight-A student, she and her hyperactive kid sister, Moth, discovered a gateway to a magical world. They weren't the only ones. Dozens of kids from their hometown visited Edge Country's mysterious forests, bustling cities and magical academies. Then, Moth betrayed them. Leading an army of ancient gods, she attempted to kill Sparrow and her friends. Sparrow shut the gateways, trapping her sister on the other side.

Now, decades later, Sparrow has moved  back in with her still-grieving mother. Her life is going nowhere until she is visited by a former childhood enemy. They warn her that not only is Moth still alive, she is planning to destroy Edge Country. Now Sparrow must rally together the other former teenage magicians to find a way back to Edge Country and stop Moth from carrying out her plans. But as Sparrow searches for a way back, she uncovers the truth of why her once-goofy sister betrayed them, and learns that her closest childhood friends have secrets of their own.

Edge Country is a thrilling story of magic, family, friendship, and demons (both emotional and literal).
